Ole Martin Meland

Ole Martin Meland (1984) is born and bread at Sætre in Hurum, south east of Norway.

Ole Martin graduated in dance-course at St. Hallvard college in Lier before taking his bachelor degree in dance and ballet at Oslo College of Performing Arts / Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo in  2006.

Prior to joining Carte Blanche,  Ole Martin danced with Oslo Danseensemble. Ole Martin's debut at Carte Blanche was autumn 2006 in the performance Vesle Einsteins Juleønske.

Ole Martin had prominent roles in the productionsUMA (2008) by Örjan Andersson, Alibi (2008) choreographed by Eva-Cecilie Richardssen and 
When Clarity Visits (2009), by Guy Weizmann and Roni Haver | Club Guy & Roni. He especially enjoyed his roles in the last two productions.

30th of April 2010 he was rewarded the annual price of Carte Blanche Friend Society of 
NOK 10 000 for his outstanding performance within the company.
