Christopher Flinder Petersen

Christopher Flinder Petersen was born in Norway in 1987. He graduated from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and has previously danced with Carte Blanche in Uprising by Hofesh Shechter in spring 2009, and the London based Russell Maliphant Company. 

Christopher joined Israeli Batsheva Ensemblet in the autumn 2009, where he had leading roles in different dance pieces by their renowned choreographer Ohad Naharin. In addition he has danced in Sharon Eyal’s Love in Batsheva during the Nederland Dance Theatre’s 50th anniversary.

As part of the Batsheva Workshops, he created and danced his own duet Elephants, which received good critics as well as earned him an invitation to perform at Talia Paz’ gala.

Petersen is now back dancing for Carte Blanche, starting the 2010 / 2011 season with Klokka 3 om ettermiddagen [3 o’cklock in the afternoon] by Ina Christel Johannessen.
